Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a seasoned Infrastructure Specialists Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge data center networks within the PDI framework.

You will work with web2.0, cloud, HPC AI, and enterprise data center domains, driving improvements in technology and advising marketing and engineering with strategic insights. Expect travel up to 25% and close collaboration with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent
• 10+ years of networking fundamentals incl. TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, data center architecture
• 5+ years designing/building network fabrics for scalable data centers (CLOS, spine-leaf)
• Expert-level BGP, VxLAN, EVPN (5+ years) with Ethernet/TCP/IP experience (10+ years)
• 8+ years of advanced network troubleshooting with packet sniffers/tools
• 6+ years Linux admin, kernel drivers, PCIe, diagnostics
• Experience with HPC network storage and lab validation of topologies
• 6+ years direct customer-facing experience in requirements, planning, deployment
• 3+ years network automation using Ansible, Salt, Python
• Excellent English communication; willing to travel up to 25% and work non-standard hours

Responsibilities

• Provide Ethernet networking expertise during project delivery
• Design, architect, configure and test Ethernet networks for data centers
• Collaborate across teams to support server infrastructure, HPC workloads, GPUs, and AI apps
• Develop DevOps automation scripts for network operations and architectures
• Create deployment documents and procedures
• Validate architectures and configs in lab environments
• Create and customize network automation scripts using AI tools
• Gather information from customers to design optimal solutions
• Use tools to monitor network performance and deliver project handover
• Travel onsite to customer data centers for initial configurations
