Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Specialists Solutions Architect in New York to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge data center networks under the Plan, Design, & Implement framework. You will partner with customers to architect scalable fabric, validate configurations in labs, and deliver deployment-ready documents and playbooks.

Responsibilities span Ethernet/Routing design, multi-functional collaboration, and automation scripting using Python/Salt/Ansible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of networking fundamentals experience including TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, and data center architecture.
5+ years shaping network fabrics for scalable data center compute clusters (CLOS/spine-leaf).
Expert-level proficiency in BGP, VxLAN, EVPN (5+ years) with strong Ethernet/TCP/IP knowledge (10+ years).
Advanced network troubleshooting with packet sniffers and analysis tools (8+ years).
Strong Linux administration background (6+ years).
HPC network storage technologies and lab topology validation experience.
6+ years of direct customer-facing experience (4+ years in consulting/tech support).
3+ years network automation (Ansible/Salt/Python).
Excellent English communication; ability to convey complex concepts to stakeholders.
Willing to travel up to 25% domestically/internationally and work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

Providing Ethernet and routing expertise to design, architect, configure and test Ethernet networking solutions.
Work in multi-functional teams to provide Ethernet networking expertise to server infrastructure builds and GPU-enabled AI applications.
Crafting and evaluating DevOps automation scripts for network operations and architectures.
Implementing network configuration/validation tasks for data centers.
Create Methods of Procedure and deployment documents.
Validate network architectures and configs in the lab.
Create network automation scripts and customize for customers using AI tools.
Interact with customers to gather required information for optimal designs.
Use software tools to validate and monitor network performance.
Create project documents for handover to customers upon completion.
Travel onsite to customers' data centers for initial configuration.
