Job summary

Swift is seeking a seasoned Network Infrastructure professional to lead and operate its Datacenter Network. You will design, implement, and manage Cisco ACI-based environments, APIC operations, and Nexus 9000 deployments in a hybrid work setup in Virginia.

You will collaborate with Architecture, SOC, Security, and Operations teams, driving automation with Terraform/Ansible and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field required.
• 10+ years of solid IT/network engineering experience.
• Expertise in Cisco ACI architecture and APIC operations.
• Strong knowledge of Nexus 9000 and L3Out contracts.
• Experience with firewall tech (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint).
• Scripting and automation skills with Terraform, Ansible, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, configure, upgrade and maintain Datacenter Network Infrastructure.
• Deploy network infrastructure and lifecycle management per change control.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers following DevOps/Agile practices.
• Maintain technical documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Manage network devices installations and end user connectivity.
• Handle network deployments and software upgrades.
• Triage and resolve complex network incidents (L2).Drive continuous improvement and automation.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide on-call support and weekend deployment when needed.
