Job summary

PNC is seeking a Senior Data Center Network Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable data center networking across multiple sites. You will work with leaf-spine fabrics and overlay networking, applying industry-standard routing protocols and automation practices.

The role requires strong enterprise networking knowledge, experience with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, and proficiency in Python and Ansible for infrastructure-as-code. Location options include several U.S.

Qualifications

• University degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years in enterprise networking or data center engineering preferred.
• Experience with leaf-spine fabrics and overlay networking is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support highly available, multi-site data center networking.
• Lead in deployment of routing protocols and data center architectures.
• Provide guidance to engineers on software and hardware development.
• Engage with stakeholders to shape enterprise engineering initiatives.
