Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a technical program manager to drive Data Center and Network Capacity planning in IAD.

You will assess demand requirements with network resources, lead programs to improve infrastructure utilization, and collaborate with AWS teams to deliver capacity for customers. You will work with networking engineers, tech program managers, and senior leadership to define requirements, manage dependencies, and deliver end-to-end program success in a fast-paced

Qualifications

5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology field.
Master's degree in a technology field (preferred).
5+ years of data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor the network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management) to define requirements and processes.
Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
End to end responsibility for the program's execution and success.
Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.
Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role.
