Job summary

Amazon is seeking a technical program manager to drive Data Center and Network Capacity planning in IAD. You will assess demand requirements and available resources, deliver prime solutions, and lead programs to improve infrastructure utilization and availability.

Collaborate across AWS to plan and deliver data center capacity, while aligning with leadership and compliance standards. The role emphasizes owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Qualifications

5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology field.
5+ years of data center or network capacity planning or related technical experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor network health and customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action.
Define requirements and processes with stakeholders (networking engineers, tech program managers, senior management).
Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs.
Provide program progress reporting regularly.
End-to-end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvements/automated solutions.
