Job summary

IES is seeking a National Construction Project Executive – Data Center (Mechanical) to lead strategic mechanical construction for hyperscale and mission-critical data centers across the United States. The role interfaces with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, on-schedule, within-budget delivery of robust cooling infrastructure and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate combines 15+ years in mechanical construction leadership with deep data center expertise, BIM/VDC/IPD

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in mechanical construction.
• 10+ years managing mission-critical, data center, industrial, healthcare, semiconductor, or advanced technology projects.
• Proven experience overseeing large-scale mechanical construction portfolios across multiple regions.
• Demonstrated success supporting hyperscale and colocation data center customers.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $100M individually and portfolios exceeding $1B annually preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national strategy for mechanical construction services supporting hyperscale and mission-critical data centers.
• Establish national standards and best practices for mechanical construction execution across regions.
• Serve as Executive Sponsor for key hyperscale accounts and executive customer leadership.
• Provide executive oversight of large-scale mechanical construction projects and programs.
• Drive profitability, risk management, and governance across multiple regions.
