Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Cooling SME – Piping Specialist to design, review, standardize, and execute mechanical piping for Modular Data Center and Liquid Cooling solutions focused on TCS and Facility Water Systems. The role requires strong expertise in data center liquid cooling architecture, hydronic piping, and piping materials, with leadership in standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in piping, hydronic cooling, or liquid cooling systems.
• Data center TCS/FWS experience preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic calculations and piping design/layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical review of TCS/FWS piping systems including headers, distribution piping, CDU interfaces, heat exchangers and pumps.
• Develop and review P&IDs, piping layouts, and valve schedules.
• Ensure system reliability, water quality, cleanliness, and commissioning requirements.
• Mentor engineers and designers in liquid cooling and hydronic piping design.
• Support FAT, installation, commissioning, and field issue resolution.
