Job summary

DVL Group, Inc is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Thermal Technical Specialist to advance in critical infrastructure data centers. You will apply five years of independent experience with cooling, ventilating, and building controls, and guide technicians while solving complex HVAC challenges.

Responsibilities include startup/commissioning oversight, diagnostic troubleshooting, and safe refrigerant handling. Strong communication with Sales Engineers and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certificate from college or trade school.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• 5+ years full-time commercial/industrial HVAC/R experience.
• Experience handling refrigerant and repairs.
• Troubleshooting electrical and refrigeration systems.
• OSHA 10 safety training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• On-call and overtime availability.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot HVAC/R systems in data center environments.
• Read schematics and control circuits; direct technicians as needed.
• Manage startup and commissioning projects on Liebert/Vertiv equipment.
• Communicate equipment status daily to dispatcher with times and parts.
• Ensure safe handling of refrigerants and related tools.
• Mentor Thermal Technicians and Assistants.
