Job summary

Salute is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Technician for on-site Barstow, TX. You will be responsible for electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems to maximize uptime in mission-critical data centers.

The role includes leading maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex equipment, coordinating with management and vendors, and supervising multi-skilled operators with a strong safety and regulatory focus.

Qualifications

• 6 years of directly related experience in operation, installation, and maintenance of data center critical equipment, building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical one lines.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25 and compliance issues.
• Hands-on knowledge of safety best practices (lockout/tag out, arc flash, OSHA, state regs).

Responsibilities

• Place SAFETY at the top of anything and everything they do – without fail.
• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions of facility systems.
• Complete planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance work assignments.
• Respond to emergency issues and manage indoor emergencies and air quality complaints.
• Directly interface with management, contractors, and consultants for data center commissioning.
• Manage Multi‑Skilled Operators in day-to-day operations and maintenance.
