Job summary

Salute is seeking a Data Center Electrical Subject Matter Expert in Afton, TX. This on-site role leads electrical power and control systems for mission-critical data center operations, including UPS, switchgear, and distribution, reporting to the Data Center Manager.

Salary ranges from $125,000 to $145,000 annually with a 7.5% annual bonus and relocation assistance. You will drive maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and documentation, while aligning with client teams and vendors to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience with electrical systems design, maintenance, or operations in mission-critical environments.
• Proven hands-on troubleshooting of switchgear, UPS, and distribution systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA and safety standards.
• Familiarity with SCADA, protective relays, and power automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite technical resource for electrical infrastructure.
• Lead development of SOPs/MOPs/EOPs for electrical systems.
• Support design, testing, maintenance of low- and medium-voltage systems and UPS.
• Oversee troubleshooting, retrofits, and maintenance with safety & change management.
• Review configurations and modifications for integrity and risk mitigation.
• Provide QA/QC oversight for construction, commissioning, and maintenance.
