Qualifications

• Over 7 years of pertinent experience in the electrical industry or at the electrical trade level.
• Bachelor's degree or trade certification with at least 3 years of relevant electrical industry experience may substitute for 7+ years.
• Proficient in critical facility operations with procedure-based work.
• Demonstrated experience in critical environments.
• Ability to comprehend electrical plans, specifications, and equipment shop drawings.
• Theoretical and practical understanding of power equipment and systems, esp. design, maintenance, testing, and construction.
• Experience in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite technical resource of electrical infrastructure systems and equipment, with emphasis on practical field operation
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration between local facility team and applicable local/global teams
• Technical proficiency to support creation and revision of process documentation (MOPs, SOPs, EOPs)
• Contribute to the electrical safety program for the site
• Plan resources, author or approve work procedures for electrical troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance focusing on risk
• Conduct or oversee hands-on troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance of electrical equipment
• Oversee electrical system configurations and component upgrades; follow change control processes
• Provide QA/QC oversight of construction projects & maintenance activity
• Provide training to Critical Facility Engineers and cross functional teams on electrical equipment and procedures
• Manage vendor relationships for electrical maintenance and retrofit work
