Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design, development and deployment of electrical systems for mega-scale data centers. You will drive energy-efficient, compliant, and scalable solutions across regions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires extensive data center electrical experience, advanced software skills (AutoCAD/Revit/CFD) and a track record of successful, complex deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years focused on data center design and operations.
• Proven track record delivering electrical systems for large-scale data center projects.
• Extensive experience with software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CFD).

Responsibilities

• Create building and site electrical drawings.
• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale data centers.
• Provide electrical design oversight from concept to commissioning, ensuring energy efficiency and performance.
• Drive sustainability initiatives across projects.
• Manage large-scale, multi-site projects across global regions and ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with mechanical, architecture, structural, network, controls, and operations teams to integrate systems.
• Work with vendors and contractors to meet quality, safety and company specs.
• Act as main contact for electrical systems decisions and coordinate with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes and environmental requirements.
• Lead root-cause analysis and deliver solutions to improve resilience.
