Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior Electrical Engineering leader for data center projects. You will guide electrical design, apply industry standards, and ensure robust operation through technical leadership and collaboration with colocations teams.

You will develop standards, review drawings, and drive policy adherence while mentoring junior staff and coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines. Oracle offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years experience in electrical engineering design, construction, commissioning, or owner-side technical leadership for mission critical facilities, data centers, or similarly complex infrastructure.
• Strong working knowledge of data center electrical systems including but not limited to power generation, storage and delivery, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, etc.
• Experience developing technical standards, basis of design documents, owner’s requirements, specifications, whitepapers, or design guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, commissioning documentation, and equipment submittals.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholder groups, including hardware, mechanical, controls, architecture, structural, construction, operations, procurement, and external design partners.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to evaluate complex technical issues, make risk-based recommendations, and drive alignment across internal and external teams.
• Experience with high-density compute environments and liquid cooling technologies preferred.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages electrical engineering design and technical direction for assigned data center projects.
• Provides expert input for contract administration including generation and review of contracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other documentation.
• Contributes to creating and maintaining best-in-class policies and procedures across project work.
• Solves complex, cross-functional issues with initiative and recommends system-level enhancements.
• Acts as SME with extensive knowledge of multiple engineering facets and leads seminars or conferences.
