Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to join a global engineering team focused on the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of data center electrical systems. You will work across multiple regions with internal and external partners to drive standardization and reliable uptime.

You will lead projects, draft clear documentation, and mentor the engineering community while solving complex control challenges in mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360).
• Knowledge of electrical and controls systems for mission critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement energy-efficient electrical controls systems for data centers.
• Create comprehensive documentation for electrical EPMS controls designs and procedures.
• Develop standardization in data center electrical-controls space.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external groups across regions.
• Produce detailed design specifications, wiring schematics and reports.
