Job summary

CAI seeks DC Services Electrical Commissioning Engineers with data center commissioning experience to support development and execution of electrical commissioning projects. You will help plan and execute testing, review submittals, and coordinate with vendors to ensure adherence to owner requirements.

Responsibilities include safety support, test script development, daily reporting, and active participation in customer tests and factory witness events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five to ten years of Data Center Commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and specifications.
• Knowledge of data center design concepts.
• Experience with Electrical Distribution Switchgear, Substations, UPS, ATS, batteries, generator & load banks.

Responsibilities

• Support safety for all electrical tests.
• Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of electrical infrastructure systems.
• QA/QC of electrical test procedures.
• Develop and maintain the commissioning plan inputs and reports.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports for project management.
• Attend customer Factory Witness Test events.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage test activities.
• Inspect equipment for adherence to submittals and design intent.
• Provide test documentation showing proper delivery, installation, and operation.
• Review design specifications, submittals, one-line drawings, and schedules.
