Job summary

CAI Mission Critical is seeking Electrical Commissioning Engineers to support development and execution of all electrical aspects of commissioning projects for data centers. You will develop test schedules, review submittals, coordinate with vendors, and generate reports through turnover to clients.

Responsibilities include safety oversight, QA/QC of procedures, design spec reviews, and active participation in Customer Factory Witness Tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2–5 years data center commissioning experience
• OSHA and NFPA 70E safety knowledge
• Ability to read electrical schematics and specifications
• Knowledge of data center design concepts and electrical distribution equipment

Responsibilities

• Support safety for all electrical tests.
• Coordinate complete commissioning and testing of electrical infrastructure.
• QA/QC of electrical test procedures and reports.
• Develop and maintain commissioning plans and daily/ final reports.
• Attend Factory Witness Test and assist with vendor coordination.
• Review submittals for design intent and owner requirements.
• Perform site inspections to ensure build adherence to submittals.
• Conduct design spec reviews and project schedule documentation.
• Execute test scripts to validate equipment operation to design specs.
• Ensure safe work practices on site and engage with customers.
