Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior-level leader to drive development and construction of hyperscale data center projects in Richmond, VA. You will manage the full lifecycle from site selection through turnover, coordinating with consultants, public agencies, and general contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 10+ years in mission-critical or high-density construction, strong leadership, and expertise in entitlements, design development, and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction or development project management experience on mission-critical or technically complex commercial construction projects, including data centers or high-density MEP environments.
• Experience leading projects from site selection/entitlements through design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Site Development & Real Estate experience (permits, zoning, land development, public agencies).
• Experience managing A&E firms, consultants, contractors, RFPs, contract negotiations, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data center project development and project management throughout the entire project life cycle.
• Coordinate and manage consultant activity during entitlement and design development; review reports and access results for decision making.
• Assist in preparing project business plans, budgets, and capital requirements.
• Develop and execute project sustainability plans and track performance.
• Manage entitlement requirements with public agencies and maintain relationships.
• Develop development budgets and schedules; negotiate contracts and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with laws and permits; coordinate with general contractors during bidding, execution, and closeout.
