Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a senior Data Center Designer III to lead the design of electrical systems, lighting, and power layouts for data center projects. You will produce and coordinate drawings in REVIT, perform energy code calculations, and ensure compliance with NFPA and local codes.

Collaboration with architects, engineers, and clients is essential, with supervision of junior designers as needed. Responsibilities include leading lighting design, calculating loads, and coordinating with trades to

Qualifications

Fluency in REVIT with a passing score on the Design/BIM assessment.
Advanced knowledge of NFPA and local building codes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and illuminance software.
Ability to calculate illumination levels and energy compliance documents.
Develop design documents with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Design various items in the Data Center using REVIT.
Lead lighting design and controls efforts using owner requirements and RFP information.
Calculate power loads, feeders, and distribution system demand loads.
Coordinate with architectural and mechanical teams and interface with clients.
Back-check own and others' design work for accuracy and completeness.
