Job summary

Rosendin in Hanover, Maryland, is seeking a Data Center Designer III responsible for designing layouts for power and lighting systems in Data Centers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience and must be fluent in REVIT, with strong knowledge of energy calculations and local building codes. Additional responsibilities include leading design efforts and collaborating with clients and various engineering disciplines. Benefits include ESOP, 401(K), medical insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Fluency in REVIT with a passing score on the Design/BIM assessment.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant design experience.
• Ability to perform LEED calculations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design various items in the Data Center using REVIT.
• Perform Energy Code calculations, documentation, and local jurisdiction energy requirements.
• Lead lighting design and controls efforts using owner requirements and RFP information.

Skills

Fluency in REVIT

Advanced knowledge of NFPA

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Effective fieldwork and surveying skills

Knowledge of load summary and power calculations

Education

Some college or technical training in engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Designer
