Job summary

Meta is seeking a Design Project Lead for its Data Center Design Engineering team in Menlo Park, CA. The role focuses on Civil, Structural, Landscape and Architecture disciplines as an Owner's Representative to deliver capacity safely, on time, and within budget.

You will lead schematic through construction documents, coordinate with internal partners and external engineers, manage risks, and drive value engineering while upholding safety, quality, and operability across data center projects.

Qualifications

• Lead multiple projects through design and construction as Owner's Representative.
• Coordinate Civil, Structural, Landscape, Architecture disciplines across new builds, leased facilities and retrofits.
• Define scope, milestones and allocate resources; liaison between business stakeholders and design teams.
• Set goals, track progress and ensure decisions align with Meta's vision.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning with requirements, scope, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, retrospectives and reviews for transparency.
• Collaborate with internal partners and external EoR/contractors to deliver on time and on budget.
• Prepare and issue RFPs, analyze bids, manage changes, and review submittals and reports.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation focusing on safety, quality, operability and sustainability.
