Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is a leader in AI cloud infrastructure serving tens of thousands of customers. This role focuses on owning controls standards for mechanical systems in large-scale data centers, and coordinating across mechanical, electrical, network, and operations teams to ensure robust, testable control sequences.

You will support factory and site testing, trouble-shoot control-loop issues, and incorporate lessons into future designs, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, controls, or systems engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing or commissioning mechanical controls for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to develop/review sequences of operation, P&IDs, control diagrams, wiring diagrams, points lists, and functional test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own controls standards and reference architectures for mechanical systems in large-scale data centers.
• Define automation for central cooling plants, heat-rejection systems, pumps, and liquid-cooling loops.
• Review designs, vendor submittals, and control drawings for Lambda standards.
• Coordinate controls requirements across mechanical, electrical, network, and operations teams.
• Support factory testing, site acceptance testing, commissioning, and live facility bring-up.
