Job summary

manpowe in Richmond, VA is seeking a Construction Project Manager 4 for data center development, onsite in Richmond. The role emphasizes strong communication, project management, and independent work, with a pay range of $78.25 - $84.28 per hour.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and milestones across engineering, operations, safety, and contractors, driving issue resolution and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, plus 5+ years of construction project management experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction schedules, budgets, and project deliverables.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and vendors.
• Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and familiarity with Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices; OSHA 30 certification, PMP certification, and data center cooling system experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between lease provider construction teams and internal stakeholders throughout project development and delivery.
• Manage multiple data center and mission-critical construction projects, ensuring safe worksite practices and compliance with lease agreements.
• Coordinate activities and deliverables across various teams, including engineering, operations, security, environmental health & safety, and external contractors.
• Track project scope, schedule, budget, and Ready for Service (RFS) milestones, providing regular status reports and updates.
• Conduct site walks, attend contractor and owner meetings, and drive issue resolution, decision‑making, and project execution.
