Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Sr Data Center Construction Project Manager to provide expert oversight and technical leadership for data center construction activities performed by colocation providers. This high-level individual contributor role ensures projects meet schedule, cost, and design requirements through hands-on expertise and strategic coordination.

The role focuses on base-building and MEP infrastructure, risk evaluation, and seamless tenant fit-out integration with the overall project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with colocation providers to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Independently evaluate risks related to timely delivery and inform the business of potential impacts.
• Coordinate tenant fit-out with base-building projects throughout design, construction, and commissioning.
• Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure construction activities meet design specs and standards.
• Collaborate with design teams to align construction with approved plans and specifications.
• Serve as primary contact with colocation providers to facilitate clear communication.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation input for continuous improvement.
