Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr Construction Manager for Northeast Construction to lead data center builds, own scope, schedule, budget, and coordinate with general contractors across multiple sites.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background, and a PE/LEED/CCM certification is preferred, with a track record delivering large electrical and cooling systems for data centers. Strong knowledge of codes and supplier interfaces is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with large-scale electrical and mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects for data center builds, owning scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding and execution phases.
• Conduct bid analysis, scope creation, and financial evaluation.
• Oversee electrical and mechanical system installations including cooling, power distribution, and HVAC.
• Manage documentation, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Ensure quality control and report key metrics.
