Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Senior Data Center Construction Project Manager for Chesterton, IN to lead regional data center builds from planning through closeout. You will coordinate contractors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure the project meets quality, safety, and design standards.

The role emphasizes back-office organization, documentation, and effective communication with clients and internal teams. Travel to sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree is a plus.
• Experience managing Data Center construction projects as an Owner or GC.
• Experience managing a budget.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in data center construction.
• Familiar with design processes for data center systems.
• Active membership in AFCOM, ASHRAE, or similar bodies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate data center construction activities across regions.
• Manage schedules, budgets and change orders to meet scope and quality.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors and internal departments.
• Prepare reports, RFP responses and project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to company design standards and safety.
• Represent the company in project meetings and client interactions.
