Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Data Center Construction QA / QC Manager in Chesterton, IN. In this role, you'll monitor quality and commissioning processes for complex data center construction projects while fostering a career-growth oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of relevant experience in a data center setting, strong technical knowledge, and will coordinate closely with engineering and construction teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of data center facility construction and commissioning experience.
• Experience on projects 5 MW or larger.
• 3-5 years of quality assurance/quality control experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic site walk-throughs to ensure standards are followed.
• Manage Level 1-3 commissioning procedures.
• Communicate operational status with senior management.

Skills

Data center facility construction experience

Commissioning experience

Strong understanding of critical electrical power systems

Mechanical/HVAC equipment knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Analytical and problem-resolution skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Certification as a commissioning professional (BCxP, CxA, CCP)

NETA/NICET certification
