Job summary

LF Driscoll is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a Data Center project in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role leads multiple construction projects, oversees staff, and maintains strong client and architect relationships while ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of general contractor PM experience, a construction-related degree or equivalent, and proven skills in budgeting, reporting, and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in construction-related degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 10-15 years of general contractor project management experience.
• Well-developed communications, decision making, financial analysis, interpersonal, organizational and team work skills required.
• Strong ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and architects.

Responsibilities

• Monitors project activity including schedules and spending to ensure timely, quality completion.
• Prepares and reviews project reports and schedules per company guidelines.
• Facilitates weekly project status meetings with owner, owner's rep, vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensures staff are informed of safety policies and project information.
• Reviews bid documents, vendor qualifications, final estimates, and takeoffs.
• Procures materials and negotiates subcontractor changes as needed.
• Reviews invoices and ensures accurate payments and client communications.
• Prepares change orders and final project close-out documentation.
