Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Construction Program Manager to lead large-scale data-center projects in Herndon, VA. You will define strategies, manage vendors, and drive complex programs with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale MEP plant projects and construction programs.
• 6+ years in data-center construction and equipment operation.
• Vendor management including RFPs, bids, change orders and submittals.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CM or equivalent with 7+ years CM experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop large-scale technical strategies across multiple teams to meet AWS objectives.
• Solve complex problems by delivering scalable technical and commercial solutions.
• Develop scalable technical solutions to enable AWS to scale and address root causes.
• Create repeatable mechanisms and best practices adopted across the organization.
• Serve as primary escalation point and help decide on short vs long-term trade-offs.
• Mentor team members and participate in hiring and promo assessments.
• Contribute to critical projects requiring on-site SME involvement.
