Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead onsite construction activities for a major data center expansion in Dalton, GA. The role focuses on execution, scheduling, reporting, contractor management, and site oversight with regular travel to Dalton, GA.

The position is a remote role with heavy weekly travel (Mon–Thu) and a 6-month contract with potential extensions. Start date is 11/09/2027 and compensation ranges from $85 to $92 per hour.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of construction/project management experience.
• Proven experience delivering mission-critical, GPU/AI, or high-density data center construction projects preferred.
• Strong scheduling, reporting, and project controls experience.
• Experience reviewing scopes, pay applications, change orders, and contractor performance.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel weekly to Dalton, GA (typically Monday-Thursday).
• Ability to walk 2-3 miles per day and perform regular site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution for active data center projects in Dalton, GA.
• Manage schedules, milestones, critical path activities, and project reporting.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct site walks, verify progress, and identify risks.
• Review change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Deliver daily progress reports and weekly executive updates.
• Support commissioning and project turnover activities.
