Job summary

Weeks Construction Services is seeking a Senior Superintendent to serve as the on-site Owner's Representative for mission-critical data center projects. You will lead safety, quality, schedule, logistics, and contractor coordination to meet design, budget, and operations goals.

You will monitor progress, attend planning meetings, manage risks, and deliver regular status updates while supporting after-hours activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing large-scale mechanical or electrical construction projects, preferably within mission-critical or data center environments.
• Working knowledge of OFCI processes, QA/QC programs, commissioning, and project controls.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and support project demands, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor performance, project progress, and adherence to schedule milestones.
• Participate in owner, contractor, design, coordination, BIM/VDC, and planning meetings.
• Track project risks, delays, and impacts, escalating issues as needed.
• Provide regular project status reports, including progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Respond to project emergencies and support after-hours activities when required.
• Partner with project teams to maintain site health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
• Promote compliance with project safety protocols and best practices.
• Oversee OFCI equipment logistics and delivery; coordinate with management on submittals.
• Inspect and verify owner-furnished materials upon arrival.
• Manage site logistics including temporary facilities, signage, equipment, and related resources.
• Support budget monitoring and cost control efforts.
• Assist engineering and commissioning teams during startup and testing activities.
• Coordinate turnover documentation and project closeout packages.
