Job summary

Meade is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer Lead to provide on-site technical leadership for commissioning data center facilities. You will lead all levels of commissioning (L0–L6), drive test scripts, and coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure safe, high-quality handover.

Weekly travel to job sites is required. The ideal candidate will bring deep MEP knowledge, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence in fast-paced

Qualifications

• 7+ years in building systems commissioning with leadership on data centers.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site technical authority for all levels of commissioning (L0–L6) of MEP systems.
• Translate high-level plans into detailed site-specific execution plans and tests.
• Lead day-to-day commissioning, IST, startup, energization and handover.
• Manage site commissioning schedule and track milestones.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and field staff in testing and safety.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients during testing.
• Ensure compliance with Meade standards and safety requirements.
• Maintain logs, reports, and turnover documentation.
