Job summary

Meade is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to provide on-site technical leadership for commissioning mission-critical data center facilities. You will lead field execution of all levels (L0–L6), ensure safe, high-quality delivery, and mentor commissioning engineers while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in building systems commissioning for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• 3+ years of hands-on leadership experience mentoring field teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, boilers, UPS, generators, MV electrical systems, BMS, and control sequences.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE codes; familiar with commissioning standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site technical authority for all levels of commissioning (L0–L6) of MEP systems.
• Translate high-level plans into detailed site execution plans, test scripts, and performance tests.
• Lead day-to-day commissioning activities, including testing, IST, startups, energization, and turnover.
• Maintain site commissioning schedule, track milestones, and ensure timely test success.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and drive timely resolutions during commissioning and startup.
• Mentor junior engineers and field staff on testing methods and safety practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients to witness testing and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with Meade standards, codes, and safety requirements.
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation; review test plans and turnover packages.
• Manage site resources within budget and provide progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Foster a strong safety culture and share lessons learned for process improvement.
