Job summary

Oracle is seeking a hands-on Data Center Infrastructure professional in Reston, VA to design and implement structured cabling for new and expanding data centers. You will deploy cabling, adhere to standards, troubleshoot connectivity, and collaborate with vendors to deliver scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to designs for structured cabling solutions for new data center builds and expansions.
• Deploys physical plant cabling systems as instructed.
• Adheres to global data center cabling and infrastructure standards.
• Troubleshoots standard and non-standard cabling infrastructure connectivity issues.
• Implements infrastructure for Oracle data centers and supports continuous improvement.
• Delivers repeatable solutions to improve data center performance.
• Understands project scope by reviewing BOM and resources, and aligns with roadmap.
• Prioritizes customer experience in project planning and delivery.
• Builds relationships with Program Management teams and reports project status.
• Maintains documentation on cabling and build standards for data centers.
• Begins to collaborate with vendors to deliver build-out of data center infrastructure.
• Collaborates across teams to align expectations and build partnerships.
• Identifies and addresses standard and non-standard issues and escalates complex ones.
