Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site build of AI data centers, overseeing safety, quality, schedule, and cost. You will coordinate GC partners, MEP trades, and vendors to ensure readiness and commissioning on time.

Based in Texas with up to 50% travel, you will manage program-level risks, mentor teams, and report progress to executives as part of a high-density, remote-location build program.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction management, incl. data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience leading GCM, scheduling, cost controls, EHS, and multi-site teams.
• Proven CPM scheduling, budget control, and contract administration.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight of the construction program, guiding on-site teams.
• Escalate schedule, cost, quality, and safety issues beyond site authority.
• Own master schedule and budget; report to Director and executives.
• Review change orders, claims, and contract modifications before sign-off.
• Lead OAC meetings and negotiate with GC, design teams, and vendors.
• Mentor reports and standardize reporting, docs, and quality across sites.
• Coordinate cross-project staffing and vendor allocation.
• Oversee commissioning, turnover, and closeout at program level.
• Maintain relationships with leadership, investors, and exec stakeholders.
