Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site construction for its AI data centers, spanning mobilization through commissioning and handover. You will be the on-site presence accountable for safety, quality, schedule, and cost across multiple campuses.

You will direct GCs, MEP trades, and vendors to ensure each data hall is energized and commissioned on schedule, while reporting to executive stakeholders and maintaining program-level controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction management, with 3+ years leading mission-critical builds such as data centers or large industrial facilities.
• Experience managing General Construction Managers, program controls, EHS leadership, and multi-site teams.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration skills.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight of the overall construction program on behalf of Nscale, supervising on-site leaders and contractors.
• Serve as primary escalation point for schedule, cost, quality, and safety issues beyond site authority.
• Own master program schedule and budget; report status and risks to Director and executives.
• Review and approve significant changes, claims, and contract modifications.
• Chair OAC meetings and represent Nscale in negotiations with GC teams and vendors.
• Mentor staff and enforce consistent reporting standards across all sites.
• Coordinate resources and vendors to meet program-wide priorities and deadlines.
• Oversee commissioning, turnover, and closeout processes across sites.
