Job summary

Nscale seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site build programs for its AI data centers. You will manage safety, quality, schedule, and cost, directing GCs, MEP partners, and vendors to meet contracted timelines.

The role centers on high-density, liquid-cooled facilities for tens of thousands of GPUs across multiple sites. You will direct program-level scheduling, budgeting, and risk management while coordinating with leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction management for mission-critical builds such as data centers or large industrial facilities.
• Directly managing General Construction Managers and program controls.
• Experience with CPM scheduling, budget and cost control, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with program-level reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
• OSHA 30 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight of the overall construction program on behalf of Nscale.
• Escalate issues beyond site level authority.
• Own the master program schedule and budget; report status to Director and executives.
• Review and approve significant change orders, claims, and contract modifications.
• Chair OAC meetings and negotiate with General Contractors and vendors.
• Mentor and develop direct reports; enforce reporting standards and quality across sites.
• Coordinate resources and vendor allocations to meet program-wide priorities.
• Oversee commissioning, turnover, and closeout processes at the program level.
