Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead onsite BMS/EPMS commissioning across large-scale data center projects. You will coordinate with design, development, and operations teams, manage staff and scheduling, and drive issue resolution with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in industrial control systems or building automation system troubleshooting and/or startup.
• 4+ years' experience overseeing the installation starting up and commissioning of automation and control systems with significant onsite time.
• Must reside in the vicinity of the data center campus and expect a high level of site presence to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DG BMS/EPMS onsite checkout and commissioning execution.
• Lead commissioning status reviews and executive-level discussions with clients and general contractors.
• Coordinate with DG project management, design and Dev Ops teams to manage scope changes and deviations.
• Manage onsite BMS/EPMS commissioning staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Promote and enforce site safety expectations and ensure commissioning activities comply with safety requirements.
