Job summary

BW Design Group is seeking an Automation and Control System Commissioning Manager to lead onsite BMS/EPMS commissioning across large data center projects in North America. You will coordinate with design, field teams, and client teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery of commissioning activities.

The role demands extensive onsite presence, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate complex multi‑vendor environments. Relocation or travel is a key consideration for project deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industrial control systems or building automation troubleshooting/startup.
• 4+ years overseeing installation, startup and commissioning with significant onsite time.
• Strong communication and ability to work with large teams of DG professionals, trades, GC, and client.
• Willingness to reside near the data center campus and maintain high site presence.
• Relocation timing negotiable based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite leadership for DG BMS/EPMS commissioning activities and define technical direction.
• Coordinate with design, field execution, and project teams to align timelines and quality.
• Lead commissioning status reviews and executive discussions with clients and contractors.
• Represent DG at site commissioning meetings and reviews; manage issues and change control.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for commissioning work on site.
