Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Architect to lead architectural design for mission‑critical data center projects. You will supervise internal teams, ensure coherent integration with MEP and security systems, and drive code compliance across multi‑discipline reviews.

You will mentor junior staff, uphold data center design standards, and collaborate with hyperscale and colocation clients to deliver high‑performing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Active U.S. RA license with reciprocity as needed.
• 10+ years of architectural experience focusing on data center or mission‑critical facilities.
• Proven leadership guiding internal design teams through all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and planning for complex data center projects in a design‑build framework.
• Provide technical leadership to internal teams and ensure high‑quality construction documents.
• Coordinate architectural work with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security systems.
• Interpret and apply IBC, IFC, NFPA, and ADA/ABA codes across projects.
• Mentor junior architects and promote code literacy and best practices.
• Develop client concepts, participate in pursuits, and present strategies to clients.
