Job summary

Fleet Data Centers in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Principal Architect of Data Center Engineering to lead the design, development and implementation of efficient, scalable data centers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class systems that support massive cloud operations across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• 10+ years in Architecture with 8+ years in data center design/ops.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale data center projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.
• Strong sustainability and energy efficiency expertise.

Responsibilities

• Create site campus masterplans and building plans.
• Lead design and development of architecture for large-scale data centers.
• Oversee architectural design throughout project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, structural teams to integrate systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes and environmental requirements.
• Manage multi-site projects across global regions.
