Designworks Talent invites you to join as an Applied Researcher focused on data centers in Bellevue, WA. You will develop and maintain a forward-looking technical perspective on AI models and inference technologies, shaping the direction of our data center infrastructure.

You’ll influence engineering roadmaps, architecture, and commercial positioning, and translate research into concrete actions for product, go-to-market, and vendor partnerships, with hands-on assessment of physical plant

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building, or operating data center infrastructure at scale.
• Demonstrated experience with GPU-based compute environments.
• Working command of the power side of the business, interconnect, capacity procurement, and build timelines.

Responsibilities

• Hold the company's view of where data center infrastructure is going and track roadmaps across power, cooling, and delivery.
• Formulate and validate a product/engineering thesis and defend against cost and schedule constraints.
• Own the technical reference view of a hall at each GPU generation: density, power envelope, cooling topology, and site absorption.
