Job summary

Centella is seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst to design, implement, and manage our databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility for leadership and staff.

The role leads end-to-end reporting, builds dashboards in BI tools, partners with leaders to translate questions into data models, and drives ETL processes while upholding HIPAA and data governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database administration, data management, or BI/reporting.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Experience building reports/dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).
• Experience with ETL processes and integrating data across systems.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• HIPAA familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain company databases with proper structure and performance.
• Own data integrity, accuracy, and security with standards and validation rules.
• Build and improve reports and dashboards for self-service access to metrics.
• Gather requirements with department leaders and translate questions into data models and reports.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes connecting ERP, CRM, and other systems.
• Monitor data quality and perform root-cause analysis to prevent issues.
• Document data definitions, dictionaries, and data flows.
• Enforce data governance, access controls, and retention rules (HIPAA compliance).
• Train staff on reporting tools and produce ad-hoc analyses as needed.
• Collaborate with IT on system implementations and upgrades affecting data.
• Stay current on BI and data privacy best practices.
