Position Summary

The Senior Data Architect will lead the development of a healthcare data lakehouse designed to unify client data sources, powering AI-driven revenue cycle management (RCM) optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect a purpose-built lakehouse specifically designed for healthcare RCM workflows.
2. Design integration patterns to combine structured claims data with unstructured patient documentation.
3. Establish pipelines for ingesting inconsistent client data formats (835/837 files, PDFs, EHR extracts, payer contracts).
4. Implement healthcare-specific security controls compliant with HIPAA regulations.
5. Create data lineage frameworks to track sensitive PHI/PII through all transformations.
6. Build specialized connectors for major RCM systems (EHRs, payers, clearinghouses).
7. Develop data quality rules specific to RCM metrics (clean claim rate, denial rate, A/R days).

Requirements and Qualifications

1. 7-10 years of experience developing and leading data architecture.
2. Proven success in unifying healthcare RCM data across multiple sources.
3. Deep understanding of revenue cycle workflows and related challenges with disparate data.
4. Experience building systems that handle unstructured documentation.
5. Track record of implementing solutions processing healthcare EDI transactions.
6. Experience creating data models supporting revenue integrity analytics.
7. Experience with NLP for extracting insights from unstructured healthcare documents.
8. Experience leading multiple global teams.
