Job summary

Galent in Dallas is seeking a senior data engineer to design and govern enterprise data architecture, build scalable data pipelines, and mentor technical teams. You will lead Snowflake-based solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to shape data strategy.

Candidates bring 10+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), plus CI/CD and governance experience in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, data architecture, and cloud data platforms.
• Proven hands-on Snowflake and enterprise data platform development experience.
• Strong experience with ETL, streaming, and integration technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, and Kafka.
• Expertise in data modeling, SQL, database design, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with Python, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience leading enterprise data architecture, governance, and mentoring technical leaders.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments with senior stakeholders.
