Job summary

RFG Advisory seeks an experienced data platform lead to own the Snowflake environment, manage pipelines, and define the data architecture roadmap. You will ensure data freshness, quality, and governance across core systems including CRM and finance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in data engineering/architecture, deep Snowflake expertise, and strong SQL with Python, dbt, Git, and CI/CD experience. This role offers a high-impact leadership path and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering or data architecture with leadership experience.
• Deep Snowflake experience: modeling, RBAC, masking, cost management.
• Expert SQL and dimensional modeling; Python for pipelines; Git and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own our Snowflake environment including structure, environments, compute, performance, and cost.
• Run reliable data pipelines with monitoring for freshness, completeness, and errors.
• Version control data logic with code review and automated testing.
• Define target data architecture, reference patterns, and roadmap.
• Tune performance, manage backup/recovery/retention for data assets.
• Review data projects for impact and produce high-level designs.
