Job summary

Anblicks seeks a senior data engineering leader to own end-to-end Snowflake architecture and data product delivery in a Dallas ecosystem.

You will translate business requirements into canonical models, enforce data standards, and guide ingestion and transformation across the modern data stack. Candidates should have 10+ years in data engineering with leadership experience and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering and platform architecture
• 3+ years in a lead role
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (performance tuning, security, cost)
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Understanding of data domains (Client, Finance)
• Deep data modeling (dimensional, canonical, domain-driven)
• Experience with ontology/semantic layers (business vocabularies, relationships, metrics)
• Knowledge of modern data stack tools (dbt, orchestration, CI/CD for data)
• Experience with Data Quality, Data Governance, Metadata, and Data Observability
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Luigi
• Strong SQL and ELT pattern knowledge
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Snowflake architecture and implementation
• Translate requirements into canonical models and data products
• Define data modeling standards and domain-driven design
• Guide data ingestion patterns, transformation frameworks (dbt), and optimization
• Oversee Data Quality, Governance, Metadata, and Observability initiatives
• Mentor data engineers and modelers; drive roadmap and decisions
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
