Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Data Architecture to lead transformative data projects for automotive and aerospace clients. You will design, deploy, and maintain large-scale AI-ready data architectures, guiding cross-functional teams and engaging with senior client leadership to shape data strategy and value realization.

You will drive end-to-end data capabilities, from modelling and integration to governance, security, and modernization, leveraging cloud-native platforms and modern data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in STEM.
• 12+ years of professional consulting experience.
• 12+ years hands-on data lake and architectures experience.
• 5+ years with native cloud products (Azure or GCP).
• 8+ years mentoring data architects/engineers.
• Experience with data modelling, warehousing, lakes and integration.
• Hands-on coding in Python/Java/Scala.
• Knowledge of Data Fabrics/Data Mesh/Data Lake concepts.
• Ability to design scalable data solutions.
• Security and Data governance focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more data architecture projects for clients in automotive/aerospace, delivering scalable data platforms.
• Guide cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
• Engage with CIO/CSuite clients to articulate data strategy and solutions.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines and architectures for transactional, analytical, and AI workloads.
• Drive data governance, security, and quality across engagements.
