Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Data Architecture to lead large-scale AI-ready data architectures for the automotive and aerospace sectors. You will design, deploy, and govern data platforms, guide cross-functional teams, and deliver end-to-end data solutions for finance and supply chain use cases.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to C-level clients, drive data strategy, manage projects, and mentor global data engineering teams while balancing scope, cost, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 12+ years consulting experience in industry or technology consulting.
• 12+ years hands-on data lake architecture experience.
• 5+ years with Azure or GCP.
• 8+ years mentoring data architects/engineers.
• Data architecture principles including data modelling and warehousing.
• Experience leading large data engineering teams and complex platforms.
• Hands-on coding in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Containerization and DevOps for data workflows.
• Data encryption, access control, security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of processes and projects with focus on quality and risk.
• Drive continuous process improvement and innovative data solutions.
• Supervise professionals to deliver complex technical initiatives.
• Architect and present findings; mentor junior team members.
• Help win new business; be a trusted advisor to EY and clients.
