Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager in Data Architecture to lead large-scale data platforms, AI, and GenAI initiatives for automotive and aerospace clients. You will guide data strategy, design modern architectures, and mentor global teams delivering complex data solutions.

You’ll engage with C‑level leaders, manage delivery, and ensure governance and security while advancing EY’s data-driven consulting services across mobility and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 12+ years professional consulting experience in industry or technology consulting.
• 12+ years hands-on experience in architecting data lake solutions.
• 5+ years’ experience with native cloud products (Azure or GCP).
• 8+ years mentoring and leading data architecture/engineering teams.
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, data lakes and integration.
• Hands-on coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for data workloads.
• Understanding of data security and governance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead data architecture and engineering projects delivering scalable platforms.
• Coach junior staff and lead cross-functional client teams.
• Define data requirements, design solutions, and implement data strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Engage with senior clients to shape goals and drive data-driven outcomes.
